To Whom It May Concern:

In 2003 our church was experiencing great difficulty and conflict because of a man of renown in our church.  He was the chairman of the deacons.  When we had exhausted almost every possibility of resolving the conflict we asked Joe Murray to come and speak to our deacon body.  Our intent was for Joe to come and act as a mediator and give us wisdom from an outside source as to what needed to be done to resolve the problem.  Joe shared with us the principles outlined in his book, "satan's M.O."  As a result of this teaching the Holy Spirit opened the eyes of our leadership to an understanding as to what was the real cause of our problems and how to stand against them.  As a result, our men stood firm and followed the biblical guidelines of Matthew 18:15-17.  The man, when confronted, refused to repent and was removed from our fellowship.  Because we understood the seriousness of satan's involvement in this matter and the need to exercise biblical discipline for the preservation of the body, (1 Cor. 5) our church did what most churches would not do.  A year has passed since Joe shared with us and now our church is strong and impacting our community in a great way.  The brother removed from our fellowship still refuses to repent but we are praying that one day he will obey the Lord and repent and be restored again in our fellowship.

I believe Joe Murray coming to our church and sharing the principles of satan's M.O. was the turning point in our church.  I would highly recommend any church dealing with major internal conflict to become familiar with Joe's material or better still, have him come and assist as he did in our situation.

If anyone is interested in knowing more about how the Lord used Joe and his teachings on satan's M.O. in our church, please give me a call.
